SVUSD Food Services has enrolled in a special program which no longer requires parents to fill out an application for free and reduced meals. However, during data confirmation (online registration for school), you will be prompted to complete a school funding form or income form and that resulting qualification can be used for services by the district (AP testing, bus pass ETC) and by businesses that offer assistance for families (Internet providers, utility companies ETC.). If you are Direct certified due to your enrollment in CalFresh, CalWorks or Medi Cal, you will receive an approval letter from food services.  If you are not direct certified but qualify due to the information entered on school funding form and need written verification, food services can provide documentation upon request.
